Introduction
Kuala Lumpur is the federal capital of Malaysia. Located in the state of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur is the most populous city and among the fastest growing metropolitan city in Malaysia. With only 30 minutes from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) to KL Sentral by train, tourist can spend their holidays in the city where everything is different. The different language, lifestyle, and culture, tourist can experience excellent holiday in the city.

Transportation
For tourist from KLIA/LCCT, you can take the KLIA Transit or KLIA Express Commuter that brings you directly to KL Central (For those from LCCT, you may need to take a shuttle bus from LCCT to KLIA first). From there, you can take public transport such as cab, commuter, LTR, Monorel or bus that brings you to your destination. Other than that, there is an alternative way for you to get to KL Central from KLIA by bus. There is a bus service Express Coach that brings you from KLIA to KL Central. For your transportation in KL, try to use bus service (there are free buses and charge buses in KL) or LTR/Commuter/Monorel Service to go to your destination. We do not encourage you to take cab/taxi in KL since its more expensive.

Theme Park Travel - Genting Highlands PART 2

Transportation
There are few ways to go to Genting Highlands:

FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT
1. For tourists from KLIA/LCCT, take the Express Coach bus or KLIA Transit/KLIA Express Train to KL Sentral. Then, take the Go Genting Bus which is RED in color to Genting Highlands.

KLIA/LCCT > Express Coach Bus/KLIA Transit/KLIA Express > Go Genting Bus > Genting Highlands

2. For tourists from Malaysia (Local Tourists), when u reach KL, take LTR or Commuter to KL Sentral or Pudu Sentral (to take the Go Genting red in color bus to Genting Highlands) or Titiwangsa LRT Station (to take the Genting yellow in color bus).

a. KL (Kuala Lumpur) > LRT/Commuter > KL Sentral > Go Genting Bus (RED) > Genting Highlands
b. KL (Kuala Lumpur) > LRT/Commuter > Titiwangsa > Genting Bus (YELLOW) > Genting Highlands

3. There are still an alternative way to go Genting Highlands. You can take a cab (well its a bit expensive) to Genting Highlands.

BY CAR

From South:
1. At Sungai Besi Toll, proceed straight, keep left, enter exit to Cheras heading up the flyover.
2. Follow Cheras direction, go straight.
3. Pass by Makro on your left, go straight.
4. Follow Ampang direction
5. Pass by Ampang, go straight and you will pass Zoo Negara and Melawati (on your right).
6. Go straight, follow Kuantan direction.
7. Exit Kuantan flyover. Go up the flyover and join Karak Highway.
8. After the Karak Toll, proceed on till you reach Genting Sempah. Take a left turn to Genting Highlands before the Genting Sempah tunnel.

From North:
1. From Ipoh (North-South Highway), exit to Rawang Interchange. Proceed to Rawang Town.
2. Pass Rawang, Sungai Choh and Serendah Towns.
3. Next town is Batang Kali. Turn right to Genting Highlands (Signboard shown)
4. At the next T-junction, turn left to join road to Genting Highlands.
5. Afyer about 10-15 minutes, you will see Genting Skyway Station on your right. Proceed and follow directions to Awana and Genting Highlands.

Accommondation
There a lots of hotels around Genting Highlands. If you plan to spend your nights there, there are:

1. Maxim
2. Highland Hotel
3. Resort Hotel
4. Theme Park Hotel
5. First World Hotel
6. Ria Apartment
7. Amber Court (not recomended, see below for the reason)
8. Kayangan Apartment

If you plan to spend your night in the middle of the mountain, Awana Hotels and Resort will be the best choice! With a nice view, you can relax yourself awhile having golf.

For a low budget holiday trip, we would advice you to spend your nights at the budget hotels at Gohtong Jaya (which is located middle of the mountain near cable car station-Skyway)

There are currently 2 budget hotels at Gohtong Jaya:
1. Hotel Seri Malaysia
2. Elements Hotel

Also, there are apartments for rent in Gohtong Jaya, which is Mawar Apartment and Bunga Raya Apartment. Dont worry about the transportation to Genting Highlands, there are free shuttle bus from Gohtong Jaya to Skyway (We prefer to walk since its in walking distance), or you can take the Genting Bus which is yellow in color from the bus stop.

For those who wants to have a nice view of the Genting Highlands during the nights, there are Genting Permai Apartment or Genting View Resort near Gohtong Jaya (not recomended for those who go Genting by bus)

Food & Dining
Dont worry about food since you in Genting Highlands. There are lots of restaurant and fast food which provides you varieties of food. Starting from First World Plaza, to the middle of the mountain - Gohtong Jaya, it offers you over 100 restaurant! For food hunters, we personally recommend you to go to Gohtong Jaya to try the local chinese food. One of our favourite restaurant is Ze Yuan Seafood Restaurant, which located at Gohtong Jaya.

Another Side of Genting
Although Genting has been popular for its Casino and Theme Park, there are still some "wierd" activity that running in Genting Highlands. Well known as paradise of gambling, there are lots of people commit suicide result of their bankrupt during gambling. Also, there are lots of rumors spreading around where hotel guest experienced ghost during their night in Genting Highlands. The most popular haunted building in Genting Highlands is Amber Court. Many paranormal team had their activity in Amber Court. Other than that, the are many pimp and prostitute that make money in the First World Hotel.


Tips and Useful Information
Dont go to Genting Highlands during peak season or YOU WONT BE ABLE TO HAVE A COMFORTABLE HOLIDAY TRIP! IT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Theme Park Travel - Genting Highlands PART 1

Introduction
Genting Highlands is located on the border between state of Selangor and Pahang. Its is located on the mountain where the weather is cool. Yearly temperature on Genting Highlands not more than 25 Celcius and rarely falling below 14 Celcius.






















Attraction
Known as the "Fun City Above the Cloud", there are few attractions on Genting Highlands. Starting from the middle of the mountain, to the peak of the mountain.
1. Casino de GENTING - Located 6,000 feet above sea level, Casino de GENTING is the perfect place to be when it comes to sophisticated gaming and excitement.
2. Theme Park - A multi-million ringgit playground with over 40 rides, making it Malaysia's biggest theme park. There's so much of excitement and fun at our Indoor Theme Park and Outdoor Theme Park with loads of thrilling adventures for everyone.
3. First World Plaza - Located at the lower level of First World Hotel, the First World Plaza offers you different kinds of cloths, foods and accessories.
4. Mushroom Farm - Located "behind" of the hotels, there is a mushroom farm. Tourist can buy mushroom and have their meals in the Chinese Sea Food Restaurant located in the mushroom farm.
5. Strawberry Farm - Located at the middle of the mountain, Gohtong Jaya, the strawberry farm offers Self-Pick Strawberry where tourist can pick the strawberry on their own. The price of the strawberry depends on its weight.
6. Gohtong Jaya - Located at the middle of the mountain, Gohtong Jaya offers lots varieties of chinese foods. With more than 20 chinese restaurants, Gohtong Jaya is one of the attraction for chinese tourist.
7. 3 Express - After having a cooling holiday trip, tourist can buy the local food product at 3 Express where is located in Gohtong Jaya.
8. Awana Golf and Country Club - With cool weather and beautiful scenery, Awana Gold and Counrty Club provided tourist the golf club.
9. Genting Skyway - Genting Skyway is a cable car system that bring the tourist from middle of the mountain (Gohtong Jaya) to the peak of the mountain. With the world longest cable car system on its opening, Genting Skyway is an alternative way for tourist to go to Genting.
10. Chin Swee Caves Temple - Located in the middle of the mountain, Chin Swee Temple is one of the attraction in Genting Highlands. There are a large Buddha Statue and a Nine Stories Pagoda in the temple.
